Lily at 6 months.
Last week we went in for a well visit and I was shocked that Lily is still under 15lbs. She is my little peanut! 12lbs and 4 ounces and 24 inches long. She is in the 1% for her height and weight. But she is such a happy baby and meeting all of her milestones. We also started solids. Our freezer is packed with puréed fruits and veggies. There's hardly enough room for our food! But I have fun making her food and having her try new things so it well worth it.

Lily on the move
After our hike on Sunday Ben and I were preparing dinner and left the girls in the living room watching cartoons. Ella was on the couch and lily was on her play mat. When I went to check on Lily I panicked when I didn't see her right away. She rolled all the way from her mat to infront of the TV. I guess she wanted a better view of the TV!
Hike
The spring weather is getting better and we had to get outside and shake off the winter blues. On Sunday we decided to take the girls out for a joke and visited Sunol regional Park. It was an amazingly beautiful day and the girls did great. The trail was a fire road and went along a river. It was easy enough where we could use the stroller but challenging enough to where Ben and I still felt like we got a good work out(probably due to the stroller too). We had a picnic lunch, threw rocks in the river, and just had an overall relaxing day. Yay for Spring!!! Now if we can stop getting sick already.

Fwd: Oakland zoo
>
> Sunday we went to the zoo. I think the pictures speak for themselves. We had a great time. I think it's cute that Ella's favorite animals at the zoo were the otters and the Alligators. And then she tried to show the giraffes a toy giraffe she received the day before at a friends birthday party.

Baking with mommy!
We made oatmeal muffins ,the healthy way. They are super yummy and the best part is breakfast will be quick and easy in the mornings:-)
Dinner tonight
Just a short food brag. I dread Sunday nights because I have to sit down and make a grocery list /meal plan. If I don't it's a stressful week for everyone. So the only way to make it an easier process is to look forward to making something different. So tonight I made pistachio crusted salmon with a lemon cream sauce and roasted butternut squash with kale. It was super yummy! Especially the kale and squash. I can't wait to make it again.
